Hi loyal readers (and possibly web surfers) of Pandea!

Pandea’s going through a few changes; don’t worry, it’ll still be the same story, but we’ve changed the format a bit. Instead of doing a comic each week, we will be switching to a mostly text format with periodic illustrations, similar to the Japanese light novel. I will still be illustrating Pandea, just not in mass volume, and you’ll get to see more of Matt’s writing shining through!

The reason for this was that we’re both very busy, and I believe since our dedication is to the story and you all, that we wanted to get content out in a fast an enjoyable way without burning ourselves out in the process.

I, for one, am excited about these new changes, and I hope you will be, too! Feel free to pass any questions on to Matt and I about the change – we’ll be happy to answer them!

Sorry everyone for the lack of updates! For some reason, while cleaning off my Desktop, I deleted the most recent page of Pandea I was working on. The sad part? The physical page has gone missing as well! :<

I reckon I will find it (probably when I move), but until then, hold tight while I re-do last week’s comic!

We’re back!

Those of you who visited the site in the past few days probably noticed a major glitch on the home page. Somehow a faulty comic was upload took place that locked us out of the administrative side of the website and gave rise to that error message on the front page. After a bit of work we fixed the problem and upgraded to the newest version of ComicPress (version 2.9). As a result of the upgrade the look of the site is now different but the layout is the same. There are still more improvements to be made and the look of the site will probably change further as time goes on, so don’t get to attached to what we have now.

And, those of you who heard about us from A-Kon, welcome!

Finally, an update from the actual artist! Thanks Glisson, for updating everyone on me while I’m running around drawing things. @x@

A-Kon was a blast (check out my blog if you haven’t already); I just finished San Japan last weekend in San Antonio, and I’m hopefully going to Realms Con in Corpus Christi. Keep a look out for me there!

Chelsea got a last minute commission for some artwork, which is why this update came today instead of yesterday. However, she is currently working on the next page so, with a little luck, we might have more then one update this week! Exciting!

The first chapter is intended to show off the characters and set up events for the rest of the comic, while I am really thrilled with the way it has been turning out both Chelsea and I are eager to get on to chapter 2, which will focus more on plot and get to the real meat of the story. With that in mind I have been working on the scripts for the next couple chapters. Other then that I have been enjoying the warm summer days and rediscovering how much I love Legos.

Google Analytics

After a bit of work (and a handy WordPress Plugin, http://ronaldheft.com/code/analyticator/) I have set up Google Analytics to work with Pandea. We are currently getting more unique visitors then I expected, so that is a pleasant surprise.

Chelsea had a good time at A-Kon, least that is what I have been lead to believe. As you can see she got the most recent Pandea page finished and we are both pretty happy with the way it turned out.
