Those of you who visited the site in the past few days probably noticed a major glitch on the home page. Somehow a faulty comic was upload took place that locked us out of the administrative side of the website and gave rise to that error message on the front page. After a bit of work we fixed the problem and upgraded to the newest version of ComicPress (version 2.9). As a result of the upgrade the look of the site is now different but the layout is the same. There are still more improvements to be made and the look of the site will probably change further as time goes on, so don’t get to attached to what we have now.
And, those of you who heard about us from A-Kon, welcome!

Chelsea got a last minute commission for some artwork, which is why this update came today instead of yesterday. However, she is currently working on the next page so, with a little luck, we might have more then one update this week! Exciting!
The first chapter is intended to show off the characters and set up events for the rest of the comic, while I am really thrilled with the way it has been turning out both Chelsea and I are eager to get on to chapter 2, which will focus more on plot and get to the real meat of the story. With that in mind I have been working on the scripts for the next couple chapters. Other then that I have been enjoying the warm summer days and rediscovering how much I love Legos.
After a bit of work (and a handy WordPress Plugin, http://ronaldheft.com/code/analyticator/) I have set up Google Analytics to work with Pandea. We are currently getting more unique visitors then I expected, so that is a pleasant surprise.
Chelsea had a good time at A-Kon, least that is what I have been lead to believe. As you can see she got the most recent Pandea page finished and we are both pretty happy with the way it turned out.
…so there will not be a comic for next week. However, for the most part Chelsea and I seem to have gotten to a point where we can upload a page each week, usually Monday. So keep an eye out.

I have run into an issue with uploading multiple comics on the same day. A lot of features of ComicPress revolve around the name of the comic being the date it is uploaded and I am getting very odd errors when two comics share the same date. There very well could be a fix for this that I do not know about. For the moment I’m just going to wait 20 hours before the 4th page is uploaded. Chelsea has it drawn already, I swear…
I am trying to learn how the internet works, much less ComicPress. But still, I think the website is off to a good start. We will see what happens.
